Better than the original July 24, 2008
After a run in the dishwasher caused our original clunky carafe to come unglued, we searched for a replacement. On some sites, the replacement carafe cost more than the coffee maker itself.

We're really happy with this replacement. It's lighter weight and looks sleek. Works great. Shipping was smooth and speedy.

No drip lip July 22, 2008
The carafe arrived in a reasonable time and was packaged very well. The best thing is this is the first carafe that we have had that does not drip. Light weight and easy to read the marks when filling.

Perfect fit! July 21, 2008
We love our Krups coffee maker. But it can be difficult to find a replacement carafe should the original get broken. That's exactly what happened to ours the day we were having guests over the house. It has to be the exact replacement, or the functions will not work properly. What a mess I made trying to make coffee with a borrowed carafe! Fortunately, Amazon came through again. We purchased this through their website from Small Appliance. While we had to pay for shipping, the item was ordered on a Thursday and we received it on Saturday. So, there's really not much to say about the product because you really only have one choice. But the service from Amazon and Small Appliance was incredible.

Great replacement for my broken carafe July 9, 2008
Even the Krups site was out of stock of the black handled carafe. The seller got it to me quickly and in good shape.

Still haven't received it, after 5 weeks, so can't review. Communicating the shipping problem to me though leaves a lot to be deisired.
