The shape of a glass can influence the experience of a wine, so anyone wishing to build up a wine glass collection or experiment with new glass styles would do well to try this sampler set. Each of the four glasses in this set is sized and curved specifically for a particular type of wine. Because red wines need a wide surface area to fully release their bouquet, two of the glasses feature a significant girth: a 33-ounce glass for Bordeaux, Cabernet, and Merlot (10-3/4 by 4 inches), and a 34-ounce glass for Burgundy and Pinot Noir (10 by 4-1/2 inches). Also included are two 12-ounce glasses: one for champagne and other sparkling wines (9-3/4 by 2-3/4 inches), and one for Chablis, Chardonnay, and other whites (8-1/2 by 3 inches). Each style curves outward at the top into Metrokane's signature tasting lip, designed to direct the wine to the front palate, thereby enhancing the total sensory experience.

Metrokane, maker of the renowned Rabbit corkscrew, etches the base of each glass with with a tiny Rabbit icon as a symbol of quality.
