Product Description
Some practical jokes are just what we call them, practical, and some are just plain silly. But what if one was taken to offense, and drove one to madness. Here in this story the main character displays an offensive take after a practical joke is played on him by his friends, and plots a practical revenge by poisoning a crate of wine which he gives to them during the supreme madness of the Carnival season in Rome. He intends to punish and immolate in one act, and is softened by the yielding, their indulgences with the wine. He is relieved at first, then frightened, as the night progresses, when he discovers that the wine has fell into the hands of others. He is maddened by this, and leads another into his trap with greed, which has spotted his secret. A suspense filled storytelling, intended to teach a vague moral, introducing a new lesson about the darkness of man kind and his sensitivity, and the unpredictable outcomes of his mind.
