THIS AUTHORATIVE AND WELL DOCUMENTED ENCYLOPEDIA WOULD BE THE ONLY RESOURCE AN INDIVIDUAL WOULD NEED, TO BEGIN AN APPRECIATION OF THE FASCINATING WORLD OF WINE. ALSO , OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO THE EXPERIENCED WINE ENTHUSIAST ,ARE THE COLLECTION OF GROWERS AND PRODUCERS OF EACH CONTRY AND REGION ALONG WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE ADDRESSES.

MY OWN SPECIAL INTEREST LIES IN THE HISTORY OF WINES AND THEIR CURRENT STATUS. MY FIRST EXPOSURE TO WINES FROM MADEIRA ; PORTUGAL, CAME FROM MY FATHER WHO LIVED THERE AS A YOUNG MAN IN THE CAPITAL CITY OF FUNCHAL.

PLEASE CONTINUE THE UPDATING OF INFORMATION AS YOU HAVE DONE SO THOROUGHLY IN THE PAST . THE BEST OF TEACHERS HAVE ALWAYS REMAINED THE BEST OF STUDENTS AND YOUR CONTINUED EFFORTS WILL MAKE SURE ALL OF US REMAIN THE BEST OF BOTH.
