Product Description
The East Coast is stunned and paralyzed by a gruesome string of murders that has everyone gripped by fear. Shops close early; vendors are exiting the streets. When will the next murder happen? Is there just one killer? Or is someone fed up with the system attempting to prove the ineffectiveness of law enforcement? The murders are occurring almost weekly, with no uniformity other than a rather bizarre calling card left by the killer. Each victim is found with a missing ring finger and a bottle of wine called Our Dog Blue. Strangely enough, none of the murders occur in the vicinity of the winery. The authorities have exhausted every avenue in an effort to make a connection to this winery, but to no availuntil now. An attorney from Charlotte, North Carolina, faces the fight of his life to defend his newest client against the claim that she is guilty of committing at least one of the gruesome murders. Along with his trusted friend, a private investigator, they begin probing a group of regulars who meet at The Wine Cellar for the weekly tasting event. Every new lead seems to be a dead end, and time is running out for his client when they finally make the connection. But are they too late? You will find yourself being overtaken in every twist and turn of this tale with each suspect seemingly guiltier than the last. This captivating, edge-of-your-seat saga is a roller coaster ride of emotions in what starts out as lust and heat, swiftly turning to betrayal and death. Yet, you will be touched by the inconceivable loyalty of friends.
