Celebration lives up to its name by rejoicing in the purity of modern design. Each of the two crystal wine glasses in this set features a cleanly curved bowl atop a slender, elongated stem. What the eye immediately gravitates toward is the band of fine concentric rings cut around the lower portion of the bowl, providing an intriguing tactile sense to the fingertips. Generously proportioned at 19 ounces each, the two glasses are designed especially to give plenty of surface area to full-bodied red wines, such as Burgundy and Pinot Noir, in order for the bouquet to fully unfold.

Nachtmann, a renowned crystal manufacturer in Europe since 1834 and now a member of Riedel glassworks, is making great inroads into the American crystal market. A recent award-winner for its eco-friendly, state-of-the-art technology, the company crafts the glasses in Bavaria of full-lead crystal for superb clarity and brilliance and covers them with a limited replacement guarantee.
