I'm very happy with this purchase. I was surprised at how fast it arrived. I use it all day every day -- it keeps my coffee hot and fresh tasting all day! LOVE it and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! FAST SHIPPING!

Lives up to its claims July 4, 2008

I have a small office with a refreshment stand for my customers. I have tried other makers and in less than 1/2 a day, the water is cold. I left hot water in this one over an entire weekend and when I came back it was still tepid. This easily keeps water hot enough for tea or instant coffee for a full 24 hours. I am sold, the price and value are excellent. The others I bought are considered garage sale items now, and I only paid a few dollars less for them -- should have done more research and bought the Zojurushi first.

This is my first pump pot and I wasn't sure how high my expectations should be. I am really wonderfully impressed. At the recommendation of my cloth diaper guru I keep this pump pot full of hot water to use to warm bottles and wet cloth diaper wipes. I am slowing drawing down the volume all day. When I fill the pot with water from the tea kettle even the very last few ounces, ten hours later, will come out scalding hot. I've started to fill it with less-hot water because the darn thing retains heat so well that I was burning myself. (I have never tempered or preheated the pot.) In addition, the pot is easy to fill, operate and clean. To fill, the lid flips back 180 degrees, which gives great access. To clean, the lid is easily removed altogether. When I ordered it I didn't realize that it had a swivel base; it has a smooth, quick swivel action that is handy when maneuvering tea cups, etc around other stuff on the countertop to get at the spout. And lastly, the ss finish cleans up very easily. I expected it to spot like my ss fridge & microwave fronts but with the pump pot the spots just wipe off with a damp cloth. This thing is awesome and I'd order another one in a heartbeat.

After buying several less-costly air-pot during the last 15-years, it is a relief to find a sturdy, high quality product. This air-pot is built with enough quality materials that give the impression that it may last 15-years! We make coffee in the early morning and this air-pot keeps it hot all-day long. Even though it's a little more expensive than other air-pots, I'm sure it's worth it.

I have used Zojirushi air pots for more than 25 years. I brew a pot of tea right in the air pot. It stays hot for 24 hours. The Zojirushi quality is always outstanding. I have lost air pots to accidents when transporting to and from work and have worn one pump out after many years of heavy use.

The AASB22SBD uses a lever to activate the air pump. A simple slide switch raises the lever for use or releases
the lever so i sits flush with the top of the air pot when you want to secure the air pot from pumping. This is a
very nice solution and makes it very evident when the unit is ready for use or secured.
