Platter great. Do not order from Amazon because no sleeve is included August 12, 2007
I was very satisfied with the sizzle platter itself but after 3 tries with the company I never did receive the pot handle sleeve that I really wanted. If I would of known that I would never receive it with the platter I would of ordered from another company. The handle gets real hot when on the grill and I like having the sleeve. I have one from another company and it came with the sleeve. They should not advertise it with a sleeve if it does not come with one.

I was looking for some quality looking sizzle platters to use that won't rust like real cast iron does. I wanted them to be able to withstand oven temps also. These platters worked great when I used them to make fajitas in my oven to break them in.
They do look great and are nicer and more durable than the Lodge sizzle platter that I bought a month ago. After seasoning my lodge platters, they still coroded and look just plain dirty. . One more thing, Amazon has them, as of this writing, at a better price, lower than other online retailers. Just browse around and you'll se what I mean. Check ebay..ouch!
The only negative is that when they arrived, they had a huge sticky sticker on the top pat of the platter. The sticker comes off ok, just the residue was a pain to scrub off.
All in all I would recommend this to anyone interested in a good set of sizzle platters for family or entertaining use. You won't be disapointed.

This was a perfect gift for our freinds celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. They had wome Wilton Armatele, but not any grillware pieces. They has accumulated a lot of dishware during 30 years, so it was difficult finding something special, and this was. As they are avid grillers, and familiar with the quality and versitality of W.A., they were anxious to put the sizzle Platter to use
