I just started using this mop, but I haven't been using it with the lysol. I have hardwood floors so I just spray the floor with Orange Glo hardwood cleaner first. I can't really tell how effective it is because I don't have any really sticky or set-in messes, but for what I do have it seems to do a great job. I prefer it to a swiffer because it's wet throughout the mopping process, not just at the beginning like a swiffer wet pad.

The only thing I would wish to be different is for it to have a retractable cord.

I'm happy. :)

I have used this steam mop twice and I agree with some of the other reviews about the water level line. It is a little difficult to see because of the blue color of the tank, so what I have done is measured with a measuring cup. It takes just about 3/4 cup of water. The floor cloths are just ok and I received 2 with my mop. I know you can purchase more, but I will make my own. It heats up quickly and steams nicely. I had no problems with it leaving puddles of water on my floors. I can do my kitchen, laundry room and bathroom floors on 2 tanks of water. I am happy with this purchase.

I really like the idea of a steam mop as my kitchen and den run together and has a lost of items to move as I clean. When using a regular mop and water, the water is cold by the time I get half way through.
There are several things I don't like about the Lysol. It doesn't come on every time when I turn it on, I have to turn it off unplug it and plug it back in befoe it starts heating. Also, the tanks for water and lysol aren't clear so you can't tell how much you have left in it during cleaning.
Since I had never used a steam mob before, I had looked around and priced them and didn't want to spend $80.00 on an item I didn't know would work or not so I bought the Lysol. I wish now that I had spent the extra $40.00 on the other mop as I am sure it would have heated up every time and I'm it had a clear container to tell how much water was left.

I first bought the Shark and, well, at $79 I absolutely expected more. The mop pad wouldn't stay, the steam was intermittent and was only powerful every so often (and yes, I read the instructions and pumped the handle and knew what I was doing). I returned it. I saw the decent ratings for this mop and was surprised since it was so inexpensive. I couldn't find much about it on the web like I could for the Shark but I figured I'd go ahead and try it. For those worried about it being flimsy...just know the Shark IS NO BETTER. But I have to say that each time I use this mop, I like it more and more and have decided to keep it. After using it in my kitchen, I actually got a cloth w/ a bit of cleaner on it and scrubbed the floor in a particulary always-dirty area in front of the sink and the cloth brought up nothing. I was SHOCKED. Shocked. It's a little mop but it cleans up big in my book. I use it on our finished hard wood floors, too, and it's amazing. :)

I'm not giving this five stars b/c I don't like the swivel head, the fill line is very difficult to see and when I need to add water for larger areas the water compartment plug is almost too hot to touch. But no product is perfect and I still really like this mop regardless.

I purchased this mop because I like the idea of steam cleaning, so much easier to clean and uses little if no detergent so less expensive in the long run. I read all the reviews and decided to get this one for the price.

I washed my hall (laminate wood floor), my bathroom (linoleum), my kitchen (old laminate wood floor) and they all came out very clean. Put it on a rug as suggested to heat up and had no issues at all with water marks or anything else.

I would recommend this to anyone.
