MY DAD HAD A SIMILAR PRODUCT IN THE 1960'S FOR HIS STEAK FRYS IN OUR BASEMENT OVER THE FIREPLACE! THEY WERE GREAT THEN, AND THEY ARE NOW TOO, JUST WOULD SUGGEST SOAKING AND WASHING THE METAL PART, OR ONLY TOP OF THE DISHWASHER, TO BE SURE IT LASTS A LONG TIME!
