The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Great range. May 12, 2008
I upgraded to the KX-TG9334T to get better range on my phones since I use it out in the backyard over 100ft. from the base unit in the house. My older Panasonics would not work out there. These work great.

Loved the phones,but after about 3 days one handset stopped working propperly.I called panasonic customer service and they wanted me to send it back to them , at my expense, and they will send me a refurbished handset. Panasonic, how about this, you send me a NEW replacment by mail at your expense,and then I send you mine back,at YOUR expense! Needless to say I returned the entire product to amazon,and got my money back. Terrible customer service,from the dark ages.

We weren't able to find portable phones that would work in our home without static and interference. We have a filter on the phone line for the DSL and tried different phones and locations. Our daughter sent us her old Panasonics that were 5.8 GHz and they worked like a charm. We wanted to expanded the phones and the ones she sent didn't have that option. We decided to try the DECT 6.0, figuring it would even work better. The phones did not work in our home. There was a lot of static and interference no matter where we placed the base station. Returned the phones for the Panasonic KX-TG4324, which are 5.8GHz,the same as the one our daughter sent for us to try and they work great.
I'm not saying the DECT 6.0 isn't a great phone, it just didn't work in our home.

Talking caller ID is great. Range is not quite as good as I expected, but more than adequate. There is an occasional echo, but this could be my FIOS connection. Menu could be improved a bit. Overall it is a very good product. I recommend it.

I've had this phone system about one month now. I purchased because of frequency band, 1.9GHz. It offers NO interference, with my wireless DSL modem which operates on the 2.4GHz spectrum, as my previous phone system did. The features of the phone system are awesome. Works as designed, easy setup. I would suggest this product to you.
