To add water, unscrew the knob on top of the generator and pour in the desired amount using the included funnel. Able to hold enough water for two hours of continuous ironing, the stainless-steel generator heats up the water and sends it through the industrial-strength hose to the iron's soleplate. The power and penetration of the steam means that no arm pressure is needed to smooth out wrinkles. In addition, the steam shortens ironing time significantly and presses clothes as well as a drycleaner. The iron works at any angle so it can double as a garment steamer to eliminate wrinkles in curtains or hanging garments.

The iron has a durable, professional-quality soleplate for longevity, which rests on the steam generator's non-burn pad when not in use. Its steam button can be locked for continuous steam or pressed to send short blasts of steam for hanging clothes.
