Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
If you've never experienced a potato ricer, it's not too late to make up for lost time. This simple implement doesn't have a digital clock, doesn't blink when it's ready, and doesn't have a tiny computer chip imbedded in it to do all the work. It takes a bit of pressing and squeezing, but the light and airy potatoes that result will be both memorable and worth the work. Place boiled potatoes in the bowl of the ricer, set it across a saucepan (using the ridge on the head of the bowl), and press the potatoes through the disk--that's it. Stir in a bit of butter and cream, dust with paprika, and enjoy. And be sure to try the ricer with other root vegetables, such as carrots, yams, and turnips. --C. Whitney-Ward

Product Description
If you've watched a few cooking shows you've probably seen one of these in action. Many professional chefs swear by this method of ricing rather than mashing potatoes. This is an excellent device for straining tomatoes and fruits as well-great for homemade baby food!

5 out of 5 stars Potato ricer   June 4, 2008
This ricer is very handy. Three interchangable discs enable you to make a variety of food without other accessories. It worths the price and it is well built.

5 out of 5 stars Lovin' it!!   April 1, 2008
Amazing gnocchi! We could never make great gnocchi before we had this, now it's quite easy! We love it, it's very well made, easy to use, easy to clean.

5 out of 5 stars Great product, long lasting, good quality   March 20, 2008
I like the quality and that it comes with 3 disks. I haven't tried making the German noodles yet, but I will soon. I paid too much for it, but noticed that is now on sale for under $25....that's a deal! I paid close to $40, which was a little too expensive for a ricer, but I'm happy with it.

5 out of 5 stars nicely made   February 15, 2008

This ricer is nicely made with quality stainless steel that is well finished so there are no rough edges. It also opens and closes easily; and the 3 disks can easily be lifted in and out and rest well iside once they are put in.
It has a well-oiled feel. I haven't used it yet but look foward to doing that. The ricer doesn't look as if it would ever develop rust spots.

5 out of 5 stars Great buy!!   February 6, 2008

Have had this ricer over five years and could't be happier. Amazon shipping was fast and Cuispro quality is great. This really is the best way to make mashed potatoes, would not have it any other way... plus easy to clean. Would buy again.
