With a diameter of 11-1/2 inches, a depth of 5-1/4 inches, and a high domed lid, this 7-quart pan is sized for a family's braising, baking, and stewing tasks. Chili for a soccer team, cassoulet for a family reunion, curried chicken for a block party--all these are well within the pan's capacity. Though it's not nonstick, like some Calphalon cookware, the matte-finish pan is anodized for stick-resistance as well as hardness. Metal utensils won't harm the surface. Is this pot induction ready June 2, 2008
This is more of a question and not a review. I would like to know if you can use this pot on an induction cooktop? Would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

BUY WHEN AVAILABLE September 10, 2007
I purchased this product for it was a good price.

It is a beautiful piece to cook with anything from rice, pulav to vegetable to sauces. It is a perfect size for 1-4 people cooking. The shape is such that it can go from the stove to tabletop and is very easy to clean.

Highly recommend to buy.

i keep only the best stuff in my dry box for rafting. this is the favorite as it will vertually cook evry thing. eggs, steak, spagetti for a group of 30, works as a great cold cereal bowl.. and you can do the dishes in it as well. comeing into its 3rd river season and still no problems.

I Love my 7 quart casserole pot!!! It does such a nice job and I don't have to "kick up" the heat with this product and I can get a GREAT meal from it.
