Foodsaver is worth every penny August 15, 2008
This is a great way to preserve grown, hunted, gathered, or bought-in-bulk foods. I have been using it regularly for smoked salmon.

I love this product. Does everything the advertisements say it will do. It is fast and keeps food from any freezer burn. Great item and great price. Saves me TONS of money on freezer burned/stale food!!!!!!

We purchase a lot of items in bulk and needed something that was going to preserve the integrity of the food. This works. We use it on everything from meat to fruit (for smoothies). I was concerned about it being a little bulky for storage, however as it can stand upright when not in use, it fits perfectly in my pantry. Although it is sturdy it is not heavy, which makes it very portable in the kitchen area.

Truly a food saver August 4, 2008
The item was delivered quickly. I started using it immediately. We buy meat in large quantities, so I mainly use it to store meat in the freezer. I used to throw away expensive meat because it got freeze burn. Now, the food saver keeps it air tight, and the meat lasts for a long time. It is also easy to use. I have it for a couple of months so far, and did not have a problem with the sealing (as I read on other reviews). So far so good, great product, and great to store breads too. It is a food saver and a money saver.
