Cuisinart Chef's Classic cookware is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. I like this pan, but it does NOT fry eggs without any shortening, as the company suggests. I do need to add butter or margarine, or oil, otherwise the eggs stick, although the pan washes easily, and completely, with little effort.

Love this pan March 21, 2008
I ordered the 10 inch size of this pan and loved it so I also purchased the 8 inch size. It heats evenly is truly no-stick and looks great on the stove. The handle is attractive and easy to grip. It does not get hot. I love this brand and plan to buy more of the set.
