The Crybaby Wah-Wah has stood the test of time and has served generations of guitarists of every style. The sound is unmistakable, and frankly, has never been duplicated. There is but one control, the pedal itself that is all you need to add this classic sound to your own. Mash the pedal down and the effect kicks in. Mash it again and youve engaged the bypass and your pure signal passes through.

5 out of 5 stars Solid Pedal   December 28, 2008
This pedal is built to last. Very solid construction and good use of materials throughout. Delivers classic cry baby wah sound. One of the best basic wah pedals available. Would love it to have an auto-wah switch but you cant have everything!

1 out of 5 stars There's Better Pedals   December 19, 2008
Get an Ibanez Weeping Demon if you want a real wah pedal. The Weeping Demon doesn't have the confusing and frustrating on/off procedures that the crybaby does. Type it in the search box and check it out.

3 out of 5 stars "old stand-by"   August 18, 2008
I'm a little disappointed that effect is soo dramatic on the muffled (bass) side I like the way it screams (cry) on the top end compared to the Morely. Looking for a less suppressed and linear pedal.

1 out of 5 stars poor packaging   June 30, 2008

The packaging was not good. The pedal arrived a little banged up. The battery cover was broken. All of the srews were loose? Kind of weird. Unfortunety I was on a Honeymoon so I couldn't respond earlier. The pedal appears to work fine. Disappointed with the packaging and the condition.

3 out of 5 stars Step to turn on/off   May 2, 2008

The problem with this pedal is that you have to step all the way down on it to turn it on, which produces a sound. The Morley pedals have a separate on/off switch, so you can turn them on or off at a given position. The difference is the sound is just a bit more professional if the wah isn't always turning on or off at the top of the wah frequency. Suppose you wanted to set the wah in the middle, and just leave it there. You can't really do that with this pedal. It is a bit smaller than a morley wah, but in my experience, the sound is equivalent on the base models.
