The flatware is made of heavyweight 18/10 stainless steel and has a solid, substantial feel. The elegant pieces have a sinewy, curved outline and raised relief at the edges for visual interest; imprints of holly leaves further the decorative appeal. To coordinate the flatware and dinnerware, a colorful oval appears on the handle of each piece of flatware, with a decorated Christmas tree--the very same that appears on the dinnerware--embedded within the handle for festive good times. The set, 45 pieces total, includes eight five-piece place settings and one five-piece hostess set. Each place setting is comprised of an 8-inch place fork, 7-3/8-inch salad fork, 9-3/4-inch dinner knife, 7-1/2-inch place spoon, and 6-1/2-inch tea spoon. The hostess set includes a tablespoon, pierced tablespoon, cold meat fork, butter knife, and sugar spoon, and decorative elements features cutouts, slightly curved sinewy tongs, and playful scalloping.
