5 out of 5 stars For baby formula   December 17, 2008
I use this exclusively for baby formula at 140 degree. The water at 140 degree is still kind of hot, so I still add cold water to mix the formula. Very solid and easy to use. The lid come off for easy pour of water and cleaning. The electrical cord is magnetic so fells off with slight pull, which is good to prevent tripping of the cord and pulling of the pot with hot water in it. This is a good safety feature, if you have toddler or baby, they might tug on the cord and if the cord is fixed on the pot it will spill hot water all over, which is dangerous. But not this one. FYI, this is made in China.

4 out of 5 stars Nice, but need a larger one   September 24, 2008
I love my little Zojirushi. I use it daily for making oatmeal, hot tea, press-pot coffee, or ice tea. My only complaint is that it is a bit small, so I am planning on getting a larger model and taking my current unit to work to use for soups, oatmeal and hot tea.

5 out of 5 stars Instant hot water   June 23, 2008

I really have enjoyed this item. It does the job well and my family has used it for hot cocoa, oatmeal, tea, etc. It's reliable so far and have had no issues- It's Japanese so it's really good quality. It also looks modern and there is a safety button that helps prevent accidents. The only minor hassle is

1. there are only 3 preset temps to choose from
2. It runs out of water fairly quickly so you need to refill often- there are other models that have more capacity but are larger and we opted for a smaller size to save counter space.

5 out of 5 stars drink more water   February 22, 2008

During the winter months we didn't drink as much water as we should because drinking cold water seem to make us colder, so we bought the electric water dispenser. It's easy to use, well insulated to maintain temperature for a long time, and a sanitary interior lining for easy cleaning. Making coffee, or instant noodles is quick too. Not exactly cheap, but nice to have.

4 out of 5 stars Best looking water dispenser, but not perfect   November 30, 2007

Its volume can be larger, for some reasons, some dark deposits keep accumulating on the inside anti-stick coating. Or are they coming out of it? Can't really tell. It replaced my Sink In-Erator inline hot water boiler and I now save a lot of money on electricity.
