Perched on a dining table or sideboard, this dove-inspired vessel swoops in one continuous line from the tapered, slender neck (the pour spout) to the long cylindrical body (with plenty of room for young, tannic wines to breathe) and skyward to the upturned tail (where wine is poured in). The gentle curves also fit comfortably into the hand for lifting and the well-balanced proportions make for flawless tilting to meet a wine glass. Mouth-blown of premium 24-percent leaded crystal for radiance and clarity, the decanter holds a standard-sized bottle of wine and measures a dramatic 23-5/8 inches long by 8-5/8 inches high. Sophisticated serving takes flight. Inspired by the beautiful white dove, la Paloma in Spanish, this decanter is a veritable masterpiece. Graceful curves of European crystal span almost two feet in length, a form achieved only by a master glassblower. Wine is poured into the widest opening in the "tail" of the vessel and poured from the narrower curved neck. A generous, elongated base gives wine plenty of room to breathe, ideal for your young tannic reds. Hand blown of 24% lead crystal. Recommend to hand wash. Size: 8-5/8"H x 23-5/8"L, 26 oz.
