Last Christmas, I purchased three sets of these to total 12 highball glasses, as a present to myself. I also purchased 12 of the smaller juice sized glasses. I was sick and tired of having glasses break and thought I'd try these based on the fact that they were "break resistant". Attractive and lightweight, but suppossedly tough, these glasses looked as though they'd fit the bill. The first one broke three days after Christmas, but I was willing to say "mea culpa" as I had dropped it on the floor by accident. Gravity is not your friend in this instance, so I was willing to let it go. Well the next 23 glasses broke one at a time, in the dishwasher, despite being placed in a reasonable fashion. The mechanism of the breakage appeared to be the gentle swaying caused by swishing water. I tried to lessen the breakage, by securing the glasses in the dishwasher with limited success. By March (remember this was a Christmas purchase) two entire sets (12 highballs and 12 juice glasses) were gone. I then went to Kmart and purchased a set of 12 Martha Stewart highballs and 12 juice glasses and haven't had a single one break yet. All 24 of the Martha Stewarts cost less than one set of four Lenox O2's. I'm not sure what break resistant is supposed to mean, based on the performance of this product. Don't waste your money.
