This hurricane lamp from Lenox stands 9-inches high and features lovely amethyst-hued glass etched with a graceful pattern of pine, English yew, and eucalyptus. The lamp rests on a sturdy, clear glass base, opens up to a rounded bottom and a flaring top, and comes complete with a votive candle to place inside. With the votive candle lit, the flame's warm glow shines through the glass lamp, gently illuminating the purple amethyst and more dramatically accenting the beauty of the etched motif. This piece nicely highlights any table or mantle and looks equally striking outside where the glass can shelter the flaming candle from blowing winds.
