Marquis by Waterford Vintage Wine Carafe

Standing 11 inches high, this graceful and contemporary carafe holds 28 ounces, and allows the brilliance and clarity of the wine being served to be fully appreciated. An off-set rim adds a modern flair and leads down to a slender neck and elegantly rounded bowl, finally resting on a flat base. Waterford recommends washing all fine crystal carafes by hand in moderately hot water with a mixture of mild detergent, two tablespoons of white vinegar or ammonia, and 1/4-cup uncooked rice. Gently swirl the mixture for a few minutes until all residue has been removed, rinse in moderately warm water, and air-dry or dry with a lint-free cloth. --Lea Werbel
