A truly unique dinnerware pattern, New Wave is part of Villeroy & Boch's Metropolitan collection. Ultra chic and contemporary, each piece incorporates flowing lines, curving edges, and an exceptionally fun design. Lacking any decorative elements, the milky white china speaks for itself, while also highlighting the food or beverage intended for the individual item. Sharp corners give way to wavy sides that lift and turn like the sea, and many pieces in the line fit together in a complementary fashion.

A well-defined rim frames the serving area of the New Wave square platter. Measuring 13-1/4 inches on each side, the aesthetic curves of the platter create a feeling of movement when viewed from all angles. High quality European china in unique design June 4, 2008
For some two years I have been collecting Villeroy & Boch dinnerware and I have yet to be disappointed with this high quality German/Luxemburg line. The distinctive style is what you notice first, but the quality is what keeps you coming back for more. I recommend you start somewhere from amongst their extensive line and see how much you enjoy these and what interested comments you receive from your friends. Then start collecting!
