Sophisticated in form and function, Iittala's Stella glassware glows brilliantly in classic or modern bar decors. This set of two white wine glasses showcase the pattern's clear-cut lines and round shape crafted from mouth-blown clear glass. Starting with a simple rim, each vessel curves out to the middle, and then tapers back in to the thick, heavy base. The final effect is a pleasing balance of lightness and substance. Holding 11 ounces, the versatile pair is perfect for Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio, but also handles everyday drinks from iced tea to sparkling water. The Stella collection was designed by Elina Joensuu in 1995 and coordinates beautifully with other Iittala pieces. It is dishwasher-safe and is made in Finland. --Kara Karll

I have always liked how these looked, ever since I saw them at Tabla in NY City. They have great lines, nice heft, and fit the dishwasher. They are not as thin as Reidels but I would give them an excellent rating.
