Sophisticated in form and function, Iittala's Stella glassware glows brilliantly in classic or modern bar decors. This large 30-ounce bowl showcases the pattern's clear-cut lines and round shape crafted from clear, mouth-blown glass. Starting with a simple rim, the vessel curves out to the middle then tapers back in to the thick, heavy base. The final effect is a pleasing balance of lightness and substance. An ideal holder for a tossed salad or party snacks, the striking piece can also display ice or a bouquet of floating flowers. This collection was designed by Elina Joensuu in 1995 and coordinates beautifully with other Iittala pieces. It is dishwasher-safe and is made in Finland. --Kara Karll
