Miss Desiree wine glasses add a sparkling touch of tradition to a dining occasion. Each glass in this set of six is crafted of 24 percent full-lead crystal, yet the weight of the glass makes each one durable, not dainty. Standing 6 inches tall, each crystal wine glass features a broad faceted bowl circled by a cut laurel leaf design. A modified ball accents the faceted stem. Elegant alone or paired with matching water goblets and Villeroy & Boch dinnerware at the table, the substantial feeling glasses are dishwasher-safe. --Ann Bieri

I purchased the tumblers, wine glasses and old fashioned glasses. I may serve a guest iced tea or water in them but I would definitely not drink my daily juice in this expensive crystal. These glasses are for entertaining or when I want a glass to just look nice for me. A great heavy weight - which I love!
I just read that I can put them in the dishwasher - wow - I didn't realize that! (I doubt I will)
