Put a chill in the air with Iittala's Ultima Thule glassware. Glimmering with clear, textured surfaces, the organic collection evokes wintry water images like cascading icicles or a frost-covered window. This set of two cordials feature thin, precision-cut rims and slightly curved, round bodies. Bubbles of glass cluster at the bases as if they might drip right off, and small round feet hold the vessels off the table-so the glass looks wet, but your table stays dry. A charming take on the pattern, these 2-ounce cordials serve any small-size drink at the bar. They are crafted in a wood mold, and each piece has its own special markings that come out in the glass-blowing process. Despite their elegant appearance, they go conveniently into the dishwasher. The classic Iittala design was created by Tapio Wirkkala in 1968 and named after the fabled arctic land. It is made in Finland. --Kara Karll

Pics don't do justice! March 27, 2007
These are a very nice set of cordials you'll want to use all the time. I bought them as a 3rd year anniversary gift, and am very pleased by their look and feel. Many crystal cordials are very delicate and you feel like they could break without notice, but not these.
I recommend these to anyone who values well designed products that are beautiful and can stand up to everyday use if you want also.
