Do not waste even 99 cents on this, I have bought these more than once (hoping I'd just gotten a bad one) because they are cheap, but even if using them as a 1 time toss away, steer clear of these.
With every use and almost every swipe at least one of the "bristles" comes loose and ends up in your food, and it looks extremely similar to hair.. thereby causing you to either be picking through your food (ending up taking most of the basting off in the process) or looking like you have lost lots of hair while making dinner.
If attempting to reuse be aware that after the 1st wash (either by hand or in the dishwasher) they rust on the metal and begin turning the handle greenish brown.
