5 out of 5 stars Great Lunch Item   July 22, 2007
My husband and I are both physicians. Thus, we almost never have to "go to lunch" per say....we usually end up grabbing something on the run ( which becomes expensive). Mr. and Ms. Bento have been the answer to our lunch time issues. It holds an adequate amount of food (generous in Mr. Bento for me), keeps the food warm/cold for up to six hours. The Ms. Bento also comes w/ a carrying bag that can hold a few packaged items, bottle of water and utensils in addition to the Bento jar. My main concern was that it would leak and be difficult to clean. On the contrary, the compartment designed for liquid is leak proof and the evening clean up is only five minutes or so. The Ms. Bento is great for portion control and allows you to eat the healthier food you've prepared at home rather than the myriad of fattening, fast food restuarants. In summary, this item is great for anyone on the go. I would have loved something like this while in school. I'll take a warm lunch over a ham sandwich any day of the week.

5 out of 5 stars Mr. and Ms. are a match made in heaven.   June 27, 2007

I am thrilled with my Mr. and Ms. Bento. My husband takes the Mr. to work and I take the much smaller Ms. Bento. The quality of these jars is excellent, and the bags that accompany them are great too; I love my little lunch handbag, and the bag with the Mr. is manly enough for my husband.

I think having these has encouraged healthy eating. Ms. is small enough that it's hard to go overboard, but if I pack carefully I find that I have plenty to eat. Also, packing these every night or morning sparks my creative side, and not only do I have fun making a pretty layout, but I find that thinking that much about what we are eating leads me to pack healthier food.

In short, I love my Ms. Bento, and my mister loves the Mr. (heh). They are sturdy, high quality, and I think they will last forever. Add that to the fact that they help us maintain a healthy diet, and these are two of the best things I've purchased in recent memory.

5 out of 5 stars Best little lunch box ever!   January 10, 2005

The Japanese really know how to make the best use of space! This lunchbox is perfect for packing leftovers and the carry bag is very convenient. You can put a nice bottle of water down along the container and you're ready to go. Little pocket for napkins, wipes, other snacks. Its great. The only flaw is that the entire manual is in Kanji, no English on it at all and unless you've had something similar, you'd never be able to figure out to freeze the bottom, or put hot water in it. It does have a couple of pictures, though. Other than that, it's performance is a solid two thumbs up. I'm getting another one!
