Product Description
The Outset Digital Remote Meat Thermometer has two probes allowing monitoring of one to two items at the same time to two separate levels of doneness. You can also cook to 2 differing levels of doneness on one food product. This digital cooking thermometer with two probes cook's meats according to your taste level - from rare to well done - without the guesswork. Simply insert a probe into your meat and attach the probe to the base unit located outside the oven or barbecue; two probes allow two different types of meat (or two levels of doneness) to be monitored at the same time. Program the base unit with the type of meat and desired level of doneness; the large LCD readout displays the inner temperature of the food during cooking and an alarm sounds when the inner temperature is met. The base transits information to a remote unit, allowing the temperature to be monitored from inside the house or away from the kitchen. The thermometer is pre-programmed with 4 doneness settings and 10 meat settings.
