1 out of 5 stars Big Ben 2000 Baby Ben Deluxe Clock   November 9, 2008
My mother was not please with this clock at all. She said they just don't make them like they use too. The purchase and delivery of the clock were up to the excellent service provided by Amazon.com. Will continue to order from this website in the future.

2 out of 5 stars Broke Within a Week   January 10, 2008

The Westbend wind up alarms clock, especially the Baby Ben style, are my favorite clocks. It is very disappointing that of the three I bought recently 2 were broke within a week. They both just stopped! The wind up key is so close to the other tools that I keep breaking nails. I have been buying these alarms since 1979 but these clocks from China are deplorable in workmenship. I will be looking for another brand.

OUR LAST BABY BEN CLOCK STOPPED WORKING AFTER 35 YEARS.
WE COULD NOT FIND ONE LOCALLY.
WE WERE MOST PLEASED TO PURCHASE ONE THRU AMAZON.
THE DELIVERY WAS RIGHT ON TIME.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMAZON FOR PURCHASHING PRODUCTS.
WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE.

4 out of 5 stars Dependable   August 10, 2006

This alarm clock is as close to the one I hoped for as I suppose it is possible to get today. The clock is bigger than I expected, but it keeps perfect time. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that the wind-up mechanism is backward from the ones I like -- this winds counter-clockwise.

1 out of 5 stars The worst clock ever!   December 26, 2005

This clock sucks so badly that you could use it as a vacuum cleaner!
It keeps time very erratically. It will keep time perfectly for 3 or 4 days, then become very fast or very slow. If you adjust the fast/slow screw the clock overcompensates (if it was too fast it will now be too slow). It's supposed to run 36 hrs., but, now that I've had it for a couple of months, it stops after 10 or 12 hr.

Bottom line, don't waste your money. Spend a little more and get something decent.
