Add a touch of understated elegance to the kitchen or another room with this handsome clock that tells time without screaming it out loud. Round in shape and measuring 10 inches in diameter, the clock has a slate blue rim with a white center where the hours are marked in simple, black Arabic font. Two simple black hands mark the hours and minutes, while a thin second hand sweeps the dial. The clock is battery-powered and 1-1/2 inches deep. --Jeff Dalto

Got 2 of these Westclox battery operated clocks. I chose the slate blue because it matches the color of my kitchen and patio room. The clock works great and keeps excellent time so far. I have had both of them for about 6 weeks. If it is perfectly quiet in the rest of the house (which it rearely is in my house) you can hear a slight ticking noise when you are close to the clock. The only thing I did not like is the clocks do not mount flush to the wall I have them on. The mounting area which is close to the battery is about 1/2 inch deeper than the rest of the clock. So when you mount it the outer edges of the clock stand about 1/2 inch off the wall surface. Other than that a good clock over all.

Love the gentle tick-tock! Inexpensive little blue clock that fills the bill and matches color scheme in our kitchen.

My last clock in my computer room dropped from the wall one too many times and I needed to replace it. Searching I found this one. I liked the color, and especially the price. I have had it for over a month now and am very pleased with it. Amazon had the best price, considering the free shipping. The Blue is almost Colonial/Slate Blue and goes very well the decor and cheers up the room. My Miniature Pinscher, Gypsy, sleeps in the rocking chair just under it and the ever-constant,low clicking of the second hand puts her right to sleep! It is not too loud, but you can hear it when all is quiet. I really wanted to purchase a more expensive Atomic clock, but budget constraints made it necessary to purchase this one instead. The clock arrived quickly by UPS, and was very carefully packaged to prevent damage. A great buy! I would definitely buy it again if I need another wall clock, unless I decide to buy the Atomic one! FREE SHIPPING is something I always look for!

I purchased this clock for my newborn's nursery. It is a perfect match to the colors that I used for his room. The tick-tocks are louder than I expected but he doesn't seem to mind; in fact, I think it helps him fall asleep. I wouldn't buy it for an older child, though, who may need a more quiet environment for sleeping. It works fine for what I bought it for.
