Lenox produces an array of superbly crafted porcelain figurines for its First Blessing Nativity Collection. Introduced in 2000, Gaspar, one of the Three Kings, dramatically adds to the creation of a home nativity scene. The porcelain king's crown and sleeves are colored a rich purple, while intricate details, such as the border of his robe, are hand-painted in 24-carat gold. His hair and fur cloak retain a textured, matte finish, while his flowing robe shines glossily.

An exceptional present for a collector of nativity pieces, Gaspar stands 8-1/2 inches high, measures 5 inches across to the tip of his outstretched arm, and comes packaged in a sturdy gift box that doubles as a storage box. The other kings, Balthazar and Melchior, are also available, as are angels, a shepherd, and of course the members of the Holy Family. I purchased Lenox First Blessing Gaspar. One of the Wisemen. Beautiful. The colors are magnificant with the touch of gold and the detailing is art at it's best. First Blessing Nativity is a must have. You can buy the wisemen one at a time instead of all three at once. It is easier on your budget but worth the buy. It was shipped in the Lenox box, well packaged. I am thrilled. Now I have all three wisemen. The Holy Family. Now I intend to buy the camels,there are two. And just keep going. Don't wait for Christmas, get ready now. Be an early shopper.
