The handsome classic design of Providence flatware presents a gleaming presence at formal affairs and adds luster to the everyday table. Combining straight-edged and rounded outlines around the border of the handles, the attractive pattern perfectly matches the rims of Pflaltzgraff's Heritage dinnerware. The detailed bands on the neck are neatly echoed for a refined effect and the balance fits comfortably in the hand. I've had this pattern for 15 years and I love it - still looks beautiful after daily use. I'm looking for additional pieces since I really like this pattern.

I purchased this set through an online retailer. I got a good price ($59 for a 55pc set). Online, they look attractive. When I received them, the first thing I noticed was how "flat" they are. The only piece that has a nice rounded feel, is the butter knife. The rest are very flat and uncomfortable to hold. They also feel very light, and I prefer a heavier utensil.

I've had them for about 3 months now and one of the knives has developed what looks like a cavity. One of the spoons has lost the mirror finish on the underside. The whole set is very dissapointing. Spend a little more on another set.
