Suitable for either red or white wines, this long-stemmed wine glass is designed to complete the spirited Villa della Luna place setting. Made of glass formed in a delicate swirling pattern, the amber luster-finish bowl sits atop a purple accent ball on a clear stem and base. The wine glass looks elegant paired with the blue Villa della Luna water goblet, available separately.

Introduced by Pfaltzgraff in 2004, Villa della Luna is inspired by scenes from Dancing with the Moon: A Story of Love at the Villa della Luna. The book is the sequel to The Secrets of Pistoulet: An Enchanted Fable of Food, Magic, and Love, set in southern France, the inspiration for Pfaltzgraff's Pistoulet dinnerware line. This Villa della Luna glass should be washed by hand to maintain the lustre finish, and is not suitable for microwave use. Pfaltzgraff covers the glass with a five-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

I had purchased these glasses a couple years ago for my wife for Christmas. We were so happy with them that my wife suggested that I get an additional set again this year. However we were very disappointed when we opened the box to find that the glasses were not of the same quality they were 2 years previously. The crystal is inferior quality and the color is not as vibrant. This will also make it harder to use both sets at the same time.

These glasses are absolutely beautiful! The blue ball at the top of the stem looks like a jewel against the amber top. The only downside is that they cannot be washed in the dishwasher, probably to preserve the iridescent glaze. A great buy!
