The Sirius has a sleek stainless steel frame with a clear ABS plastic covering over the control panel. It introduces several new innovations from Saeco such as the Saeco Brewing System (SBS), which allows you to make an infinite variety of coffee. Simply turn the dial located on the front of the dispensing head and you can regulate the amount of pressure used to brew each cup, changing the consistency of the espresso. The Incanto Sirius is the first super automatic machine with a built-in noise-free ceramic grinder, which provides a more controlled grind. The touch screen display adds sophistication and ease to preparing your coffee. The graphic display uses special icons to clearly detail each function so coffee is prepared with minimal effort in just seconds. The Incanto Sirius also has the newly redesigned Saeco removable brew group. This new generation brew group gives a noticeably more intense flavor to coffee with up to 12 grams per cup. Within six months of having this machine we have had continual problems with it. Half the time it doesn't complete the grinding and brewing function. A call to customer service takes forever to get them to pick up the phone. We wish we would have bought it at Williams-Sonoma so we could get help and have a replacement machine. Now we are returning ours for repair which takes 6-8 weeks and will have no machine. When it works, it's great! When it doesn't, it sucks!

Couldn't be easier to make a perfect cappuccino or espresso with this machine. It is customizable, easy to use and, most important to me, also cleans up easily. It is also mostly made of stainless steel rather than plastic. The coffee is delicious.

One thing to note - it says it has a "touch screen". Technically it has a dynamic screen (fixed buttons but the screen changes, much like a cell phone read out). It's still cool, but not as high-tech as an actual touch screen.

The swivel thing underneath is a neat idea but is made of flimsy plastic. The first unit I bought came with it already broken. I returned it and got a new one which is still intact, but I don't think it's built to last long. Luckily it's an inconsequential piece.

Consider where you decide to buy this. There are stores (Williams Sonoma, for example) that sell it at the same price but offer a lifetime product guarantee.
