5 out of 5 stars Quality Knives   October 7, 2008
I was nervous about ordering these knives in spite of some of the reviews I read, but I'm very pleased with them. They were very sharp when I took them out of the box, and they're still very sharp today - and I haven't sharpened them once in three months. The stainless handles feel comfortable in my hand, and I really like they way they look - simple and contemporary but elegant.

5 out of 5 stars good value for a good product   September 10, 2008
I bought this for my son for his first apartment after graduating college. He loves it. He says that the knives are great! They're very sharp and he likes the way they look and the feel in his hands. He's completely satisfied and is glad I got them for him.

5 out of 5 stars The best investment this year   August 4, 2008
I really wanted a knife that I could neglect and put in the sink and dishwasher but it's not recommended with these knives and I don't. They are worth the effort. Thy look so nice with the finish and all. I just love 'em. They're about 50% sharper than my previously owned set.

5 out of 5 stars Great Knife Set!   June 24, 2008
I purchased these as a gift for my dad and stepmom and they seem to enjoy it. I really wanted them for myself after having seen them. Not only do they look amazing, but they are really easy to handle (I tried using them myself) and slice really well. Obviously how well they slice is dependent on how sharp they are kept, but they come with a sharpening steel which is a nice bonus. I definitely like the block it comes with and it's pretty compact and contains all the basic types of knives that the average cook would need to use. I still want this set, but I have a bunch of other great knives already=T

3 out of 5 stars Just ok   May 1, 2008
Ok set, price ok, not great. Didnt realize this set was not the one that had the indentions in the blade so what you are slicing doesnt stick to blade. Can't remember what that is called, they are sharp but I have concerns about edges after sharpening. They are attractive tho on my counter.:-)
