1 out of 5 stars Discharge Immediately   August 25, 2008
Like several other reviewers, I've found these to be the worst rechargeable batteries I've ever been duped into buying. They're unusable a day after you charge them. It wouldn't matter if you got 32 or 64 of these for $30, you're just buying someone else's toxic waste.

5 out of 5 stars 32 Batteries lasted me a year so far...   May 7, 2008
For the price, you can't beat it if you get a good batch I guess. I've ordered this twice (2/07 and 7/07), and so far, all 32 batteries still hold a charge and I'm thinking about getting more.

I use them in my controllers (xbox 360, Wii), Nikon flash, and toys.

I did have a few issue with some of the batteries not being recognized by my LaCrosse charger (BC-900) and I thought they were dead and wasn't too happy. I eventually tried them in another charger and voila - they charged up fine and now they work again in the LaCrosse charger - so before tossing the batteries, try a different charger.

I've read many good reviews about the LaCrosse charger before I bought it, but I'm surprised my older panasonic charger worked.

So I do recommend this - but try and use the batteries right away (multiple charges and discharges) - so if anything, maybe you can return them as defective within 30 days

3 out of 5 stars Expect half to work, half to fail   February 13, 2008
I have 32 of these batteries, about half of them still work great, however some of them fail to charge or whill go from a 1.4v charge to a 0.0v charge within a couple days just sitting on a table.

1 out of 5 stars Useless Batteries - Bad Batch   January 15, 2008
While Duracell rechargeables are great, and this seems like a good deal. This specific batch of batteries is definitely defective. they do not hold their charge at all, literally 2 days after you perform a full charge they have no life left. stone dead within a week. you will endlessly be swaping these out!

Duracell is completely aware of the bad batch of batteries when I called them to complain. They are supposedly sending me coupons for replacement batteries after I mail my bad batteries to them, it's been 6 weeks since I first called Duracell and they have not sent the coupons as of yet. I called again today and they still have my case open, but there's no eta on when my coupons will be mailed.

Frustrating!

4 out of 5 stars These are 2650 mAh AA batteries, not 2300 mAh as described   December 24, 2007

So even better than expected, these are 2650mAh batteries. Anytime you can get a AA NiMH battery for under $2 each, it's a good deal. I've been using them after one charge in my Nintendo Wii controllers this holiday week (Xmas to New Year's Eve), and I'm still swinging.
