Designed by Edie Roberts, this valance frames a bare bedroom window with luxuriously rich fabric, elevating a hum-drum bedroom into royal chambers. Sewn in pure polyester with a 100-percent cotton lining, the valance is an ornate satiny metallic gold color that is embroidered with a complicated floral brocade design in hues of ochre, burnt orange, peach, and bark brown. A 6-inch-tall border in a jacquard print of corresponding hues runs along the bottom of the valance while a thin strip of braided trim defines a boundary between the two fabrics. The bottom is then edged with onion tassel fringe in beautiful gold and ochre threads. The valance measures 15 inches long and 48 inches wide and has an extremely narrow 1/2-inch rod pocket opening. An entire collection of corresponding Camelot bedding and window dressings are available to complete the look.--Cristina Vaamonde
