I spent about 3 hours going around on the web untill I found the color that I wanted. Came in a nice zipered storage bag. Nice for storage. Boxed Warmth April 19, 2008 I bought this blanket as a gift and now plan to get one for myself. This is a well-made product manufactured in the United States. It comes in a nice assortment of colors. I have Faribault blankets that belonged to my father's aunts that are still in great shape. Fair for the price February 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful I only like natural fibers next to my skin, and can only sleep with breathing fibers on my bed. I was therefore happy to find this blanket which is a bit too light in my opinion to be considered winter weight, but that with another blanket keeps me warm and well ventilated. I did not wash it yet so I don't know how it will turn out since the weave seems a bit loose. On the whole, I enjoy and appreciate this blanket as nice quality for the price. The close-ups on Amazon of the different colors scared me because they looked like the blanket might be different in different colors. But I can say that the one I got looked EXACTLY like the pictures for bone-white, including the close-up of the texture. It is a nice, warm wool blanket which I would characterize as medium-weight, without being itchy or stiff (you would not confuse it with a cashmere blanket but those are renowned for their incredible softness; this is fantastic for a wool). It has been warm enough down to the high '20s and it seems like it would be fine for at least another 10-20 degrees below that. The blanket was exactly what I was expecting in terms of color and appearance -- the picture for the bone-white was accurate. It has a whip-stitched border, which I myself like; it doesn't "catch" and make scruffy noises or pull threads like the other kind of edging. To people like the first reviewer who do not prefer whip-stitched borders, if you are really attached to that you can buy a couple of packets of the "ribboned edging" (I've forgotten its official name, blanket binding maybe?) at a decently-stocked fabric store and sew your own. I have "made" blankets by buying fleece on sale and this blanket binding and using my sewing machine and it worked fine, lasted without any problems. On this blanket, I found the whipstitched border and the blanket as a whole to be very nice and not "cheap" and am extremely pleased with it.
