I am fascinated with Japanese culture, and had been looking for a quality contemporary, Asian bedding set for over a year. However, I didn't want the 'usual' Asian colors of red & black. This Natori bedding set was just what I was looking for. The color is a soft, elegant cream, and the cotton/silk fabric has a soft, luxurious feel at 400 thread count. The set comes with 6 different decorative pillows, not to mention several different sham offerings, giving the bed a truly luxurious setting. And to top it all off, the character featured throughout the bedding set is a Japanese Kanji character meaning "Double Happiness." It is a character typically used during Japanese weddings to symbolize the 'double happiness' two people experience as they join together in marriage. Now who couldn't use a little extra happiness in their marriage bed? :-) If you're looking for a contemporary, luxurious, and elegant, yet understated Asian bedding set that doesn't 'scream' Asian, look no further than Natori's "Double Happiness" bedding set.

FYI - check Dillards for bedding sales from time to time during the year. I purchased this comforter, the cashmere throw, and other items from this Natori set for 50 to 60% off.
