Three black angle-cut, tempered-glass shelves rest on vibration-dampening pads for improved sound quality, and double back spines provide both extra stability and wire concealment with their round grommets. Have to give this 5 stars, given its weight rating and the price compared to other stands out there. Assembled it is attractive, simple, sturdy, and the rear columns are great for collecting/hiding cabling (remove a few screws to open the panels, add cords, and replace panels -- without impacting any other element of the structure. Or simply pass them through without unscrewing the panels.)
My only complaints, and again given the relative price I can't detract points for it, are some ill-advised part-number stickers (would have been nice if they stuck them on the underside of the glass panels, to eliminate the need to carefully de-stickum-ize a fragile surface) and a lengthy delivery period:
Given that items such as this are often purchased in tandem with a new television or similar equipment, I was disappointed with the turn-around on this unit's delivery. Prior to, during, and even now after I've purchased this and it has been delivered, Amazon has stated it "usually ships within 3-5 business days". However this actually took 20 days total to get here, requiring a variety of makeshift setups for the things that were supposed to sit on it in the interim. Plan accordingly!

The description of this product is incorrect as it reads under Product Features. The width is listed there as 58", however, under Product Details it is listed as 47". The correct width is 47", Had to return this as it is not wide enough for the 61" TV that I bought. The build on this unit is substantial with steel support the entire perimeter of the glass shelves. The same unit is available in the wider width for a slightly higher price. I hope this will prevent someone else from doing what I did. The wider unit is available at, of all places, Best Buy for $199.00 as compared to the 279.00 at Amazon as of the date of this writing.

This stand is even easier to put together than advertised - one person can do it - and it looks very classy. It has plenty of room for all associated electronics.

This stand was easy to assemble. Has a nice gloss finish. There are two shelves that are a nice size. I have my playstation 3 and sony dvd player on one shelf. The other shelf has cable box and receiver. The stand has a hidden dept for your wires, so wires don't show in the back.

I have been looking all over for a TV stand, since I am going to buy a 46 inch LCD TV. Sadly after months of looking around, I didn't see anything that really caught my eye.

Except one day I was looking through BJ's wholesalers, and they had this nice stand out, for only 199 dollars. Perfect! Looked incredible, and at a great price (alot lower than posted here).

So I picked up the box, and literally almost fell over. This is one solid item. It has 3 dark frosted glass tops (3 level case), and they are VERY solid and heavy. The frame itself isn't too bad, its hollow coated metal, very nice looking but not heavy. The 3 thick glass pieces were the heavy part, and I mean about 100lbs heavy and difficult to move the large box around.

Assembly is very easy, there aren't alot of parts. 3 glass tops, 2 rear supports, and 3-part ribs that support the glass. Took me about 1/2 hour to assemble it, and i was lazying around. When finished, it looked very nice.

Large enough for even the largest flat screens (50-60 inches are good), and sturdy. My only problem is there isn't a center support for the glass pieces, they just sit on top of rubber/plastic guides. The center isn't supported at all. Thankfully you won't be putting much on them. The top piece of glass is doubly thick because thats where your big screen TV sits. Very thick, very heavy.

Overall, a very nice buy for 200 bucks (a tad more it seems on this site). If the rest of Bush Furniture is this nice, I will have to pick up the matching side support tower unit and some other things to store DVD's in. The manual states that its made to hold 60 inch TV's weighing about 150 lbs on top shelf (or conventional TV's up to 250 lbs). It seems very sturdy enough to handle your loads.
