The glazed bottom of the baker is easy to clean and the porous, unglazed lid holds in just enough moisture to bake the garlic until it has carmelized, without drying it out. This garlic roaster is by far the most superior product I have ever used, and I have used hundreds of them. I whole heartedly endorse this wonderful tool and would recommend purchasing not only one but several to give away to all of the people on your block as well as every one of your relatives. They will thank you for years to come and invite you over for a garlic cookout if you play your cards right.

I purchased this for my son in law as a Christmas gift.

He followed the instructions, soaked the top for 10 minutes in cold water...sliced off the tops of the heads before seasoning and made sure that they sat evenly on the bottom of the roasting dish.

To our delight, the result was three garlic heads roasted to perfection.

Great little item for fans of garlic.

This garlic baker looks and works great. It is generously sized and can hold several heads of garlic for baking. I love the terra cotta finish.

I put this in the microwave for 1 minute and out comes the most delicious cooked garlic! You don't have to add anything to it! Cooked garlic, just by itself is very sweet- even my 2 year old enjoys it.
