Ideal for drying fresh pasta. 8 spindles.

Amazon.com Review
Even the longest fresh fettuccine or linguine won't touch the counter when draped on the arms of this sturdy pasta drying rack. The rack stands 16-1/2 inches high, including a heavy, stable, 7/8-inch-thick base. Assembly (and disassembly for storage) is simple. The 3/4-inch center post screws into the base. Four 18-inch dowels then slide through holes in the post, providing eight arms--cunningly angled so they don't interfere with one another--on which to hang fresh pasta to dry before going into the pot, refrigerator, or freezer. As is traditional, the rack is made of unfinished wood so pasta strands don't slide off. --Fred Brack

5 out of 5 stars Good Old Fashioned Pasta Drying Rack   April 20, 2008
We make our own pasta and this is very convenient. It does not take up that much space.

4 out of 5 stars wobbly, but works   April 9, 2008
The top screws into the base, and it never gets comletely tight. It wobbles a bit. The dowels slide thru the holes in the rod. It works, it's not expensive. It accomodates a full batch of pasta. Convenient to have it up off the counter.

5 out of 5 stars Better than the back of the chair   March 14, 2008
IF you want to make homemade pasta, you will need a drying rack. You can hang the stuff all over the house, on the back of chairs, on the oven door handle...or just get this to begin with. Hey...that is a good idea...just get this to begin with if you want to make homemade pasta.

4 out of 5 stars makes drying pasta easier and less messy!   March 3, 2008

This handy little drying rack makes drying pasta easier and less messy than before. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sticks for each rack are too close together making it slightly difficult to place the pasta separately on each rack.

5 out of 5 stars So easy!!!   February 8, 2008

Drying pasta with this product is a breeze!!! I thought I didn't need it at first and my pasta noodles all stuck together as a big pile of mess (eventhough I covered them heavily with flour - yah didn't work). I'd never make pasta without this drying rack ever again.
