Symbolizing the unity between two loved ones, this set makes an ideal present for a wedding or commitment ceremony. The centerpiece of the set is the unity pillar, a crystal candle holder which stands 5-1/2 inches tall and measures 4 inches across, with a raised lip that contains any drips. A creamy white 4-by-3-inch candle is included for the pillar. Also in the set are two four-inch-tall, cut crystal candle holders, for which two nine-inch white tapers are included. As part of the ceremony, each taper can be lit separately and held together to light the unity candle.

Waterford and Marquis, two prestigious crystal companies, joined forces in 1991 to create a simpler, more modern design line for today's lifestyles. Crafted in Germany, this set of fine crystal should be washed by hand in moderately hot water with detergent, then dried with a soft cloth to prevent spotting. --Ann Bieri

I'm using these in my wedding, they are beautiful! The only thing I did differently was I went out and purchased a taller piller for the center candle. And I also personalized my candles with beads that are my wedding colors.
