A great well made product, as others have said it would be much better if it were heavier. But overall it does a great job...

I enjoy using it. It browns the top of what you're cooking as well as the bottom, at the same time. No need to turn over. It's also light enough for me (my choice), others might want a heavier press. The wooden handle doesn't get hot, unlike the more heavier models with metal handles.

i had never heard of a bacon weight, yet my husband had suggested he had wanted one...to my surprise i have fell in love with it...it is not only used for bacon, yet we use for paninis, grilled cheeses, quesidellas, so many kid sandwhiches, etc. being round it matches well with our cast iron griddle...we liked it so much, i bought another for my fater who is highly enjoying it....

just what we have been looking for January 7, 2008
We hav been looking for a product like this for some time now and I hit it lucky and found the company that sells them . It was a pleasure doing business with them. The where prompt in there delivery of the item and it was just what we had expected.
