I drink a lot of tea so this pot was used 2-3 times a day. I bought the pfaltzgraff one to match my kitchen design. I hate storing tea pots and wanted to be able to leave this one out. It never looked out of place on my stove. However, the pot does get very hot (including the handle). It helps if you put the handle at an angle. I found the enamel started to chip away around the top close to the opening. I'm guessing from the heat and steam since I have never dropped or damaged it in any way. I also found the inside would get very dirty but was easily cleaned with a mild solution of bleach. I only got rid of it when I decided to go with a home water cooler instead (with a hot water spout) but would certainly recommend the tea pot to anyone who needs one.

I've had this kettle for about a month now and I'm making tea WAY more often than I used to. :) The handle does get hot, so you need a pot-holder, but other than that it is pretty much perfect for practical use. The long spout makes pouring easy. The hinged handle and the way the lid is constructed makes it easy to open to put in the tea, stir in some milk, etc. Plus, it looks nice so you can serve with it for casual entertaining, as opposed to having to pour the tea from a kettle into a teapot to serve. It comfortably makes 4 mugs of tea or 6 smaller tea-cups of tea.

Cute, has a removable lid so you can wash it inside, handle doesn't get hot, just a perfect little pot you can leave out on the stove and your kitchen still looks neat. Great price!
