Hostessing is more relaxing when secure about the style offered by the place settings and the serving pieces. Each of the 12 place settings in the 67-piece Royal Thread flatware set gets the basics covered with a salad fork, dinner fork, dinner knife, tablespoon and teaspoon. This set also comes with a hostess helper that includes five serving pieces: cold meat fork, two tablespoons (one pierced), butter spreader, and sugar spoon. In addition, this set comes with its own beautiful mahogany-colored wooden caddy which makes for great storage convenience. The storage caddy is also useful when entertaining less formally. Hosts can set the utensils out in their caddy when letting guests serve themselves buffet style. Finally, this set also includes a carving knife and fork that fit into a smaller wooden storage caddy. This flatware set really does contain everything but the kitchen sink.

The Royal Thread pattern is designed simply, letting the food take center stage. Featuring gentle curves and soft lines, the utensils widen at the base for easy handling. Each piece is made from 18/10 stainless steel alloy--18 percent chrome for durability and 10 percent nickel for sheen. Wallace stainless steel is dishwasher safe, yet hand washing with mild detergent is the recommended care. The flatware set was delivered quickly. I was impressed with the quality and the storage boxes. I had shopped quite a bit for flatware and found this to be one of the best deals around--online and off. The serving pieces and carving pieces made the package an exceptional value.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas as she wanted a set with more place settings. It's absolutely top quality and beautiful. She loves it. I used my Amazon coupons for using their credit card and was able to buy it at a considerable discount.

I just recieved my Wallace Premiere Royal Thread 67-Piece Stainless-Steel Flatware Set with Chest and Carving Set AND IT'S SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!
Less than 30 minutes ago the package was delivered to my front door and I already have the flatware and the carving set in each of their chest. The 18/10 flatware is very shiny (and, never needs to be shined). I am also impressed with both of the chests....very solid with nice felt on the bottoms of both. What a nice compliment this flatware will add to a meal. Simply...beautiful!

Great Flatware, Reasonable Price October 22, 2006

I have had this flatware (service for 8) for about 8 years. I just wanted some nice, heavy, everyday flatware, and it has served me well. The forks are a nice size, and heavy (18/10), and they have stood up to years of dishwasher with hard water, and are now beginning to show some signs of aging. I am considering buying this set to complement my original set, probably continue to use the old stuff, but would use this for large company gatherings.
