Need to say a special thank you to a close friend, neighbor, or relative? This cute little "sugar bowl" trinket box holds plenty of sweet things, whether in the form of favorite jewelry, antique buttons, or fragrant rose petals. And-why not?-it can also serve as a real sugar bowl. Made of clear glass etched with freeform leaves and hearts, the bowl and lid feel substantially weighty. The round knob on the lid is especially cute.

The round bowl measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter and 3-1/4 inches high with the lid on. Introduced to the Marquis by Waterford Yours Truly collection of glass giftware in 2005, the trinket bowl comes packaged in a pale pink gift box that includes a butterfly-shaped care card. I bought the trinket box as a gift for someone who collects ceramic boxes and she was delighted. The lid is especially sweet. Quality was excellent.
